AI is transforming the field of mathematics. In this talk, I will present some on-going experiments that we are conducting with Large Language Models, proof assistants and an unusual large number of colleagues. We build new tools to find and check proofs and experiment them in the areas of graph theory and high dimensional probability. These experiments would not have been possible a few months ago and could possibly be outdated on the day of the talk… I still hope to discuss relevant ways to enjoy and contribute to mathematics.
This colloquium is organised around data sciences in a broad sense, with the goal of bringing together researchers with diverse backgrounds (including mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and neuroscience) but a common interest in dealing with complex, large scale, or high dimensional data.Program
These seminars are being made possible through the support of the CFM-ENS Chair "Modèles et Sciences des Données".
The organizers: Giulio Biroli, Alex Cayco Gajic, Bruno Loureiro, Stéphane Mallat, Gabriel Peyré.
