Should you trust this map?

Should you trust this map? This internship has the objective of constituting a corpus of historical sources documenting cases in which trusting a map resulted in disastrous consequences. Examples are accidents induced by map-based navigation, or errors in architectural planning due to a fallacious map. The upshot of this bibliographical research is to retrieve the contexts in which trusting maps is necessary for their utilization, as well as how their standards of accuracy change from one context to another.
